this is lady wurdanica, a character from a personal project i like to call black+white. her design here is quite provocative, but i have a good reason! she's plays a seductress in the story  as for her design here, i'm pretty happy with her overall rose motif -- but i may change details of her clothing down the line. as for her torso, it's supposed to be a magical flexible type of glass that houses the blue rose which is her main source of power. her name also derives from the aramaic word for rose which is wurrda. there are some things i need to definitely work on here -- in the past week or so i've started to try out more digital inking, but i need to refine my skills with it a bit more! still, this was a fun little experiment and i hope i get bit better with it. anyway, she is one of the characters i'm trying to focus on and develop more after realizing i don't quite focus on my characters so i'll be posting more of her, definitely! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
